Anyone who needs assistance with their resumes, job applications, interview preparations, job searches, and filing for unemployment are encouraged to make an appointment with our bilingual (English/Spanish) career coach. Sign up for an appointment in person at the Reference Desk or call 732-745-5108 x20.
Effective January 6, 2025, the hours for Career Services are as follows:
- Mondays, 1:30 - 4:30 p.m.
- Tuesdays, 12:00 - 3:00 p.m.
- Wednesdays, 5:00 - 8:00 p.m.
- Thursdays, 12:00 - 2:00 p.m.
- Fridays, 12:00 - 4:00 p.m.
Computer/Technology Skills Assistance, and more
The library offers one-on-one computer skills tutoring by appointment. Subjects include computer and internet basics, Microsoft Office, Windows operating system, and more. Please call 732-745-5108 x22 or x20 to schedule an appointment.
As of April 2025, the library also has a Digital Navigator to assist patrons with use of technology, job searching and resume building, as well as accessing social services and other resources online. One-on-one appointments can be scheduled at the Reference Desk or by calling 732-745-5108 x20.
The Digital Navigator's hours are as follows:
- Monday: 10:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. // 2:30 - 6:30 p.m.
- Tuesday: 10:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. // 2:30 - 5:30 p.m.
- Wednesday: 10:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. // 2:30 - 5:30 p.m.
- Thursday: 10:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. // 2:00 - 4:00 p.m.
- Friday: 10 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. // 1:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.
