Fighting the Fires of Hate

During the Summer of 2010, the New Brunswick Free Public Library was honored to host the "Fighting the Fires of Hate" Traveling Exhibition, on loan from the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. Our closing reception (held in August of 2010) featured a lecture by Ronald Becker, Head of Special Collections and University Archives at Rutgers University Libraries, about the organized resistance in New Jersey against the Nazi regime. The lecture was filmed by Rutgers University Libraries' Scholarly Communications Center, and we uploaded the video to YouTube in four segments. Watch them here:

The library thanks the Rutgers University Libraries' Scholarly Communications Center for the video footage, and Dr. Ron Becker for his informative lecture during our Closing Reception for this significant exhibition!
